Safari tour of Taha’a in 4×4 - Taha'a

This tour allows you to discover the main island of Taha'a on board a 4-wheel- drive vehicle and a local English speaking tour guide. Enjoy incredible coastal views while circling the island with inland off-road drives deep into the valleys and mountains to Haamene panoramic viewpoint. Learn the traditional uses of local plants and trees for medical and tasty local dishes. Visit a small family- owned vanilla plantation to learn how this fragrant spice flowers are individually hand pollinated to produce vanilla beans. Other highlights include a fun stop at a local distillery to sample rum plus a small family operated black pearl farm to discover how one of the main industries of the island are produced, raised and harvested.



Note: Tour is also available as private charter – tour involves off-road on bumpy, muddy and wet trails. Wear comfortable clothes, athletic shoes, and sunglasses. Tour is not recommended for young children (minimum 3 yrs old), the elderly,
